2) Definitions

  • Employer: An individual or company posting jobs or recruiting through the platform.
  • Candidate: A job seeker using the platform to search and apply for roles.
  • Account: A registered user profile created to access certain features of the Services.
  • Content: Any text, images, files, CVs, job posts, messages, or other material submitted or displayed on the platform.

3) Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. By using the Services, you confirm that you have the legal right and authority to enter into these Terms.

4) Account Registration & Security

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your login details secure.
  • You must promptly update your information to keep it current and accurate.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your Account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

5) Candidate Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, lawful, and up-to-date information in your profile, CV, and applications.
  • Do not share confidential employer information obtained through the platform.
  • You acknowledge that job availability, hiring timelines, and outcomes are determined by employers, not Recunex.

6) Employer Responsibilities

  • Job posts must be accurate, lawful, non-discriminatory, and compliant with applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Do not request sensitive personal data unless necessary and lawful (and only in compliance with applicable data protection laws).
  • You are solely responsible for screening, interviewing, and hiring decisions.

7) Listings & User Content

  • You retain ownership of your Content but grant Recunex a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute such Content solely to operate and promote the Services.
  • You warrant that you have all rights necessary to upload and share the Content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
  • We may remove or edit Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

8) Packages, Payments & Renewals

  • Employers may choose free or paid plans. Prices, features, and durations are described at checkout or on the pricing page.
  • Paid plans may be one-off or subscription-based. If you purchase a subscription, it may renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • All fees are shown exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for applicable taxes.

9) Refunds & Cancellations

  • Unless required by law or expressly stated, fees are non-refundable once a listing is published or a billing period has started.
  • You may cancel future renewals at any time via your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

10) Prohibited Use

  • Posting misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory Content.
  • Scraping, harvesting, or attempting to access data without permission.
  • Introducing malware, attempting to bypass security, or disrupting the Services.
  • Posting jobs that are illegal, unsafe, or violate labour, immigration, or equality laws.

11) Intellectual Property

The Services and all related materials (including logos, branding, designs, text, and software) are owned by or licensed to Recunex and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Services except as permitted by these Terms or with our written consent.

12) Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy. We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws (including UK GDPR where applicable). Employers are independent data controllers of any candidate data they receive and must handle such data lawfully.

13) Communications

By creating an Account, you consent to receiving service, security, and transactional emails. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link or your account settings.

14) Third-Party Links & Tools

The Services may link to third-party websites or tools. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

15) Availability & Changes to the Services

We strive to keep the platform available and up to date but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, be added, or removed at our discretion.

16) Disclaimer

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recunex disclaims all warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee hiring outcomes, candidate suitability, or job availability.

17) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recunex shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

18) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Recunex, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your Content, your use of the Services, or your breach of these Terms.

19) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms or applicable law. You may stop using the Services at any time; termination does not entitle you to a refund unless required by law.

20) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

21) Changes to These Terms
