Recunex Ltd — Candidate & Marketing Privacy Notice

Scope

Explains how Recunex processes personal data for recruitment and talent services (sourcing, screening, introducing to clients, interviews, compliance), and lawful marketing to candidates/clients.

1) Personal data we collect
  • Identity & Contact
  • Career Profile: CV/resume, skills, education, work history, salary expectations, notice period, references
  • Right-to-Work & Compliance: IDs and checks as permitted by law
  • Interview Data: notes, assessments
  • Technical/Portal: logins, cookies
  • Marketing preferences
  • Special Category Data: only where necessary and lawful (e.g., disability accommodations)
2) Purposes, legal bases & retention
  • Sourcing/evaluating roles & interviews: Legitimate interests/Contract — retain during process then up to 2 years after last interaction
  • Compliance checks: Legal obligation/Legitimate interests/Consent (where required) — retain per law
  • Payroll/invoicing: Contract/Legal obligation — statutory periods
  • Adjustments: Legal obligation/Contract/Explicit consent — as needed
  • Communications & marketing: Consent or Legitimate interests — until unsubscribe
  • Service improvement/QA/reporting: Legitimate interests — up to 3 years
  • Security/incidents/claims: Legal obligation/Legitimate interests — as required
3) Sources of data
  • Direct from you
  • Referrals
  • Public professional sources: e.g., LinkedIn
  • Job boards
  • Background screeners: lawful only
  • Clients: who interviewed you
  • Service providers: e.g., interview tech
4) AI use

Tools may assist search, classification, or draft summaries. No solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Human recruiters always review.

5) Sharing & international transfers

We may share with clients (prospective employers), service providers (ATS/CRM, hosting, email, screening, payroll) under contract, authorities where required, and business transfers under confidentiality. International transfers outside UK/EEA use adequacy or Standard Contractual Clauses/UK IDTA.

6) Security

We apply technical and organisational measures. No internet system is perfectly secure.

7) Your rights

You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, portability, and to withdraw consent. Contact privacy@recunex.com. You can also complain to the ICO.

8) Do you have to provide data?

You are not obliged to, but without necessary information we may be unable to assess suitability or provide services.

9) Changes

We may update this Notice; material changes will be communicated reasonably.
